Short Bio

Tanya H. Van Cott, AIA

Licensed NYS Architect, Product Designer and Writer

A graduate of Pratt Institute, with a Bachelors of Architecture (Barch) and a Masters of Industrial Design (MID), Tanya has dedicated her career to interdisciplinary design. She has sought out projects that span her varied interests to create unique design solutions in many mediums.

Published for innovations in design and awarded a Presidential Design Achievement Award by the National Endowment for the Arts, Tanya has always been interested in the possibility of social change through design, education, and especially the written word.
Prior to opening her own Architecture Practice and Production Company, Tanya was fortunate to call Pentagram and Lippincott (Lippincott&Margulies)  a rich training ground.

Trained as a problem solver first and foremost, her writing explores the social implications of existing disruptive global technologies, making complex information accessible through relatable storytelling. 

​Tanya  is currently working on her first screenplay, Bandwidth.
